Eve McCoy, daughter of Sir Anthony McCoy, takes bronze at Youth European Jumping Championships in Portugal




Eve McCoy, the daughter of former national hunt jockey Sir Anthony McCoy, was part of the Team NAF Children to win bronze at the Youth European Jumping Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal.

McCoy, 13, was with bay gelding Non-Stop and after clearing the first round, she progressed through the competition in the second and third legs as an individual, picking up 12 penalties, before putting in a solid performance on day 2 to finish with just five further penalties.

From Hungerford, McCoy teamed up with Madison Seedhouse (Burton-on-Trent), Emily Fisher (Reading), Tabitha Kyle (Loughborough) and Noora von Bülow (London).

The championships commenced on Sunday, July 18, with McCoy in action, while her last appearance came on Sunday, July 25.
