Young motorcyclist dies in A34 crash near Winchester on December 13




A 26-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash on the A34.

Police have appealed for witnesses and dash cam footage following the fatal collision which occurred earlier this week.

Police were called at 5.30am on Wednesday morning (December 13) by the ambulance service to a report of a collision on the northbound carriageway just past Winchester bypass.

This involved a white Yamaha motorcycle and its rider, a 26-year-old man from Winchester, died at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “Were you driving in this area at the time?

“Did you see the collision or a motorcyclist on a white bike?

“Anyone with information or relevant dash cam footage should call 101 or report online via our website, quoting reference number 44230507752.”
