Tina Chaplin-Orman from Thatcham charged with assault

A WOMAN has been charged with assault at a rail station.

Reading magistrates held a preliminary hearing into the case against Tina Chaplin-Orman on Thursday, February 20.

The 48-year-old, of Urquhart Road, Thatcham, is accused of committing an offence of common assault against Matthew John Jones at Reading rail station on November 30 last year.

Magistrates adjourned the case until a later date, when Ms Chaplin-Orman will be expected to attend and to enter a plea to the single charge.

She was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
