Seasonal Walk on Crookham Common, 1pm to 3.30pm. A wonderful mix of heathland, wetland, woodland and grassland containing a variety of niches for rare and common wildlife, much of which is rare and part of a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. There will be a chance to visit the heathland restoration areas undertaken in November 2010. Join the Ranger and BBOWT's Project Officer for a relaxed guided stroll around this part of the Common. Stroke Care for Newbury are holding a coffee morning in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, Newbury between 10am and noon. Teas, coffees and cakes are available. This event is being held in parallel to the Rotary Club of Newbury Stroke Awareness Day and as part of the start of Berkshire West PCT's Feel Good Fortnight.
