Nearly new baby and toddler sale. Toys, clothes, equipment, tea and cakes on sale to raise funds for Teddy Bears pre-school, Boxford.

Beenham Wind Orchestra. Robert Roscoe conducts a concert in St Nicolas' Church, Newbury, 7.30pm. Now in its 11th year the 40-member Beenham Wind Orchestra, formerly called Beenham Band, performs music written specifically for symphonic wind bands, with both woodwind and brass instruments, by composers such as Percy Grainger, Philip Sparke and Adam Gorb. The programme will include Philip Sparke's ‘Song and Dance', a lyrical trumpet solo played by BWO's founding chairman, Simon Witcomb, and a jolly Mozart pastiche ‘Eine Kleine Walzermusic' by Adam Gorb. The band's popular repertoire will include ‘Miss Saigon' and the toe-tapping music of ‘Riverdance'. Tickets at the door £8 adults, concessions £6, under-18s £2.
