August Bank Holiday beer fest, classic cars and live music: What's on in West Berkshire and North Hampshire

Saturday
Bucklebury Beer Fest, recreation ground, noon-7pm. Entry is free. Farmers market and trade stalls.
Burghclere Miniature Railway Teddy Bears Picnic, Burghclere Sports Club, Harts Lane, Burghclere, noon-4pm. Under 16s bring your teddy bear and receive a special teddy bear ticket, allowing you two free rides on the train. Other teddy bear based activities, along with barbecue, cakes and refreshments.
Bank holiday funday, The Woodpecker, Newbury, from 3pm. Live music, barbecue, face painting and raffle in aid of Dingley’s Promise.
Mortimer West End & District Annual Show, Mortimer West End village hall, 2.30pm-5pm. Produce, arts and crafts. Refreshments also available.
Aldbourne Carnival, Super Saturday, football field, Farm Lane, 2pm-7pm. Soap box race, live music and bouncy castles. Stalls and games, refreshments. Britannia Majorettes display.
Sunday
Art on the Park, Victoria Park, 10am-4pm. Display of art and craft work on the railings of Victoria Park Nursery, the family hub and tables nearby to be officially opened by the mayor.
Shalbourne Classic Car Show, sports field, 11am. Eclectic mix of classic cars, trucks and bikes, kids entertainment, bar, barbecue, ice creams and coffee bus. £5 per adult entry fee, classics free
Newbury Artisan Market, Northbrook Street, 10am-4pm. Quality produce, original art, designer crafts and sizzling street food.
Phoenix Brass Band, Victoria Park bandstand, Newbury, 3pm-5pm.
Monday
Aldbourne car boot sale, Aldbourne Football Field, 10am-noon (sellers 9.30am). Just turn up. Parking available. £5 per car (money goes to Aldbourne Youth Club).
