What's on in West Berkshire and North Hampshire: Cake show, clothes exchange and concert
The winter chill is on its way out and events are going ahead full force. From a cake topper demonstration event to a clothes exchange, there's something for everyone.
Thursday 23
Choose Happiness with Meditation, Church Road, Shaw 7.30pm – 8.45pm. Tickets are £10.
Saturday 25
Day of Demonstration, Newbury College 10am – 6pm. Join cake topper baker Zoe for her demonstration. Sales will support Cancer Research UK and local charity, Young People and Children First. Tickets are £49. Contact secretary@newburybsg.co.uk or call 07771 866111 for tickets.
Clothes exchange, Kennet Christian Centre, Enborne Road 11am – 3pm. Join the community clothing exchange. Bring your old clothes for exchange or donate £3 to fill a bucket of clothes. Event is held on the fourth Saturday of each month.
Spring Concert, St Nicolas Church, Newbury, 7.30pm. The conductor is Jonathan Williams and there will be a violin solo from Mathilde Milwidski.
Sunday 26
Newbury Artisan Market, Northbrook Street, 10am - 4pm. Local designers, creators, makers and bakers will take to Northbrook Street for the artisan market.
Handstand workshop, Northcroft Lane, Newbury, 11am – 1pm. Tickets cost £35. This is two-hour long handstand workshop for complete beginners and those who want to take their handstand practice to the next level.
