Friday

Live music concert, ACE Space, 8pm to 10pm, £16.

Saturday

Woolton Hill and Highclere Village Market, Thorngrove School, 10am to 1pm, free.

As well as its usual offering of its tearoom and 60 stalls selling local produce, gifts and more, Saturday’s market will also have a free balloon modelling workshop for kids taking place between 10.45am and 12.30pm.

Thatcham Unplugged(ish), Thatcham Memorial Hall, 6.30pm, £8.

Line-up includes Ronan Hatfull, Lizzie Cullen, Mikey B, Tiegan Doyle, Ian Clayton and Anya Lewis. Organised by JMIEvents in aid of Partners for Active Leisure (PALS). All proceeds go to the charity. Recovery in Mind exhibition, The Base, Greenham Business Park, open daily until March 14, free.

The free exhibition showcases artwork created by many individuals who have experienced mental health challenges, highlighting the therapeutic benefits of creative expression. Visitors can view a diverse range of pieces, including group creativity projects, mindful sewing and poetry, all reflecting their personal journeys of recovery and discovery through creativity.

Wednesday

Live jazz evening, Gourmet Pasta Co, 7pm to 9pm.

Local legends the Adam Winslet Jazz Trio return to Berkshire’s best fresh pasta eatery in the heart of Newbury’s historic Market Place. Adam, who is from Hungerford, has been entertaining locally for more than 20 years, including selling out the Corn Exchange back in the day. An uplifting evening of classic songs accompanied by guitar and double bass to enjoy while you dine.

Thursday

Coffee morning, St Nicolas Church Hall, 10am to noon.

Cakes, books and tombola stalls.
