GENerate: Student Exhibition, The Base, Greenham, January 12 to 27, free.

Featuring artworks created by students from ten local schools, sixth forms and colleges, this curated exhibition showcases and celebrates the imagination and creativity of young artists.

Pongal event, Faraday Road, 10am to 1pm, free.

Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated by the Tamil community. It is a celebration to thank the sun, mother nature and the various farm animals that help to contribute to a bountiful harvest. Organised by the Newbury Tamil School and Community United.

Ladies who Latte Newbury launch event, DoubleTree by Hilton Newbury North, 10am to 12pm.

Networking event featuring empowering conversations with local women.

Thursday

Thatcham Comedy Club, Thatcham Rugby Club, Henwick Worthy Sports Ground, 7.30pm, £11.
