Big Community Switch in West Berkshire
West Berkshire Council is working in partnership with Big Community Switch to help residents switch energy suppliers and save money.
Households frustrated with high energy costs due to the increasing energy price cap and no decent fixed deals can take advantage of the scheme to help residents take control of their energy costs and save money through switching.
The service is free, and there is no obligation to switch to the winning supplier.
The new energy auction is now open with registrations closing on June 21. Personal offers will then be sent out from July 4.
Adrian Abbs (Lib Dem Wash Common), executive member for climate action, recycling and biodiversity at West Berkshire Council, said:
“I recommend residents take advantage of this scheme and help West Berkshire reach its target of net zero whilst saving money themselves.
“It is possible to make a difference, and this is a key one.”
