M4 due to be closed between junction 6 at Slough and Windsor and junction 8/9 at Maidenhead throughout the weekend

The M4 will be closed again this weekend as further Smart Motorways work is carried out.

The closure will be in place from 10pm this evening (Friday) and the carriageway is expected to remain shut until 6am on Monday (May 23)

The road will be closed between junction 6 at Windsor and junction 8/9 at Maidenhead.

Both the eastbound and the westbound carriageways are due to be shut throughout the weekend.

Diversions will be in place.
