Update: A339 partially blocked following accident

Thames Valley Police were called to the scene on the A339 outside St Gabriel’s School at about 11.35am today (Tuesday).
The two car collision on the southbound carriageway involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Galaxy.
A fire crew from Newbury and one from Dee Road attended to cut a person out of the Volkswagen Golf.
The person was treated by South Central Ambulance service for minor injuries.


As of 12.30am THE A339 Newtown Road in Newbury is partially blocked both ways at the Pinchington Lane junction, because of a vehicle accident.
Police and fire brigade are currently on the scene.
