Trains running again between Newbury and Reading after fatality

Lines reopen after person hit by train near Aldermaston

Network Rail reports lines have reopened between Newbury and Reading after a person was hit by a train near Aldermaston this morning.

No trains were running until 9am.

Trains between Bedwyn and Reading may still be delayed by up to 45 minutes as services return to normal

A very limited bus service will continue to run between Newbury and Reading to supplement the train service.
