Traffic stops on A34 northbound at Newbury following crash

A collision on the A34 northbound between the M4 and the junction with the A4185 has stopped traffic.

The earlier incident has cleared but National Highways says there are still delays.

Traffic appears to be slow or not moving at all.

There are delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 2.15pm and 2.30pm today (Friday).

There are also delays on the M4 westbound between Newbury and Hungerford.

There are delays of 20 minutes against expected traffic.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 1.45pm and 2pm today (Friday).

There are also delays on the M4 eastbound between Junction 15 and Junction 14.

The reason for this delay is a vehicle tyre change, which has shut one lane.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 1.30pm and 1.45pm today.
