Today's (Sun) events and activities





A wide variety of easy recipes using everyday leftovers will be cooked up live throughout the market, and visitors will be invited to sample all the food.
The market takes place from 9am until 1pm.
The first concert in this season’s Sunday Afternoon Tea and Cake series also takes place today.
It features Chiltern Brass Quintet with Paul Speed and Maddie Cottam on trumpet, Elin Davies on horn, Ross Anderson on trombone and John Watts on tuba.
Chiltern Brass Quintet is based in Reading and has been playing concerts in and around Berkshire for a number of years.
It takes place at the Old Bluecoat School in Thatcham from 4pm.
At the Nature Discovery Centre in Thatcham today there is a winter bird walk.
Join local natural history enthusiast Graeme Stewart on a regular walk and learn all about the birds that visit the lakes and grounds around the centre during the winter months.
A £2 donation is being advised.
It takes place between 2pm and 4pm.
West Berkshire Ramblers will be off to French’s Farm, Rag Copse and Hurstbourne Common today.
Anyone wishing to join in should meet at the parish car park in Hurstbourne Tarrant, (down the track opposite the church on the B3048 road to St Mary Bourne), grid ref SU385528 at 10am.
