To celebrate British Pie Week, Fielder’s Farm Shop in Theale is hosting a special Pie ‘n’ Pint Event from 10am until 3pm.
Newbury Chamber Choir will be performing at St John’s Church, Newbury from 7.30pm and the first of a series of three talks by the Battlefields Trust about the Battle of Newbury 1643 takes place at Shaw House from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Free Fairtrade tea and biscuits will be available at Aldworth market at Aldworth village hall from 9.30am to midday to promote Fairtrade Fortnight and Ruby’s vintage and retro fair, for anyone looking for vintage clothes, accessories, jewellery, homeware, decorative items, cupcakes and more, is on at Newbury College from 10am to 3pm.
The annual village spring cleans are also on in Goring and Streatley today.
For Goring, meet at 10am at the Parish Council office in Red Cross Road and for Streatley, meet at the Morrell Room at 10am.
Goring and District Twinning Association is also hosting a wine tasting this evening in Goring Village Hall.
