Thatcham Volunteer Fair hailed a success
The annual event, organised by the Volunteer Centre West Berkshire, was held at the Catholic Hall in Bath Road.
The fair saw 23 organisations from the volunteering world gather together to show people what they do and how they help others.
Of the 23 organisations who were displaying, a total of 73 people agreed to be contacted further.
Deputy mayor of Thatcham, Gary Johnson, helped to open the fair with chairman of the trustees of the Volunteer Centre West Berkshire, Tim Barton, Volunteer Centre West Berkshire recruitment officer, Jacqui Letsome and Volunteer Centre West Berkshire trustee, Brian Phillips.
Mr Johnson said: "I thought it was brilliant - there were a lot of people with a lot of interest.”
