Thatcham nursery upgraded to 'outstanding' by Ofsted
Audlen House Day Nursery had its results published last week which showed that it had gone from a "good" ranking in 2010 to an "outstanding" ranking.
The Ofsted report said that the partnership between the nursery and the parents was strong, that the staff were enthusiastic about sharing new skills and that they were extremely well supported by skilled and sensitive management.
It also said that children were keen and content learners and that robust arrangements were in place to keep the children safe.
Inspector, Helen Robinshaw, said: "Children are making excellent progress in their learning and development in this happy and welcoming nursery. Highly reflective teaching and the delivery of inspiring activities, result in a rich learning environment for children of all ages.

The owner of the Station Road nursery, Helen Driscoll, said that everyone was excited by the result and that the senior management wanted to thank all the staff, children, parents and external professionals for helping to make it possible.
She said:"Many changes have occurred in recent years within the nursery provision with the revised early years foundation stage and the staff at Audlen House have worked tirelessly to achieve and maintain high standards of care and education for all the children in their care.
"Audlen House Day Nursery is particularly looking forward to the much anticipated extension to their nursery over the next few months, with the development to the pre-school provision being moved to their new building next door."
