Thames Valley Air Ambulance drama in Thatcham

Helicopter lands in sports field during medical emergency

THAMES Valley Air Ambulance responded to an incident in Henwick Worthy Sports Ground in Thatcham today (Wednesday).

It responded around 4pm along with conventional ambulance crews.

Witnesses said it appeared a woman who is thought to live nearby had suffered a fall and was taken to hospital via road ambulance, along with a medic from the air ambulance.
