Teenage girl sexually assaulted in Greenham

The 15-year-old was walking through Stroud Green with a friend between 6pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 2, when she approached a man to ask if he had a cigarette.
The man then attempted to kiss her and she fell to the floor where he sexually assaulted her.
The man is said to have walked away after the girl's friend shouted at him.
The offender is described as Asian, of average build, approximately 5ft 6ins, in his late twenties to early thirties, with short messy dark hair.
He was wearing dark clothing and carrying a rucksack.
The offence was reported to police yesterday (Thursday) and a scene watch was in place in the area overnight.
Investigating officer Det Con Emma Daly, from Newbury Force CID, said: “I am appealing for information in relation to the incident and would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
“The area is usually busy and people may have been walking through to the nearby housing estates.
“The neighbourhood team is conducting patrols in the area and if anyone has any concerns, please feel free to approach an officer or call 101.”
