Teen punched several times in Thatcham attack

The incident occurred outside Costa Coffee in the Broadway at about 10.10pm on December 29.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was punched a number of times by unknown offenders.
The offenders are believed to be boys and girls, aged about 17 who were all wearing dark coloured hooded jumpers.
Police believe that a bottle may have been used to assault the victim.
He sustained cuts to his face, including a deep cut to his ear, and was treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
Investigating officer, Pc Robert Simpson-Jones said: “There were a number of vehicles seen to be driving past the area at the time of the offence, so I would appeal to any motorists who may have witnessed the offence to come forward.”
Anyone with information should contact the police on the non-emergency number on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
