Summer fun at Berkshire Youth’s Waterside Centre




Not sure how to keep the kids entertained this summer? Berkshire Youth is offering a variety of activities for a range of ages.

A summer holiday club programme catered to primary school-aged children will include arts and crafts and games, as well as sports.

This programme is for school children between Year 1 and Year 6.

A secondary school year’s programme for those in Year 7 to Year 11 is to offer activities from paddling to football.

This programme is free and will be on offer from August 1 and August 25.

Those aged between eight and 11 can try paddling and climbing among other outdoor activities between August 1 and August 23.

Berkshire Youth said all abilities are welcome.

To register interest, email waterside@berkshireyouth.co.uk with the subject ‘summer sign up’.

Berkshire Youth is also working in conjunction with Thatcham Youth in bringing free activities to Thatcham.

Secondary school-aged pupils can engage in a variety of sports from boxing and basketball to climbing and cooking.

The fun started on July 26 and will continue until August 19 at the Moorside Community Centre.
