Olly Murs parties in the paddock at Newbury races

IN August 2021, even a serious knee injury couldn’t stop Olly Murs thrilling 17,000 racegoers as he returned to Newbury Racecourse for the first time since 2017.

Three weeks previously, he had surgery after a fragment of bone became lodged in the back of his knee when he jumped into the air during his show at Newmarket Racecourse.

And he’s coming back for more when he headlines the BetVictor Hungerford Day, Party In The Paddock after the racing at Newbury Racecourse tomorrow (Saturday).

Olly says: “To me that whole tour two years ago felt like it wasn’t right. It felt weird, my knee wasn’t great. I was really battling through the emotions of it, and I did enjoy the show, but I was in so much pain.

“So now that I’m pain free, I just feel ready to go out there and just give it my best, I can’t wait!”
