Newbury shoplifter Jay Abery breaches Criminal Behaviour Order

A SERIAL shoplifter has breached his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) by thieving again.

Jay Abery appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 28.

The 23-year-old, of The Firs, Newbury, has previously been jailed for showing a “flagrant disregard” for court orders.

He admitted his latest offence of stealing goods worth £110 from the Co-op in Newbury on January 2.

Abery further admitted breaching his CBO by committing the above offence.

He was made subject to an 18-month community order with a requirement that he undergo treatment for drug addiction.
