Reading Magistrates' Court: Burghfield Common banned from roads for drink-driving in Thatcham

A MAN has been sentenced for an offence of drink-driving.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 8, was Stephen Mayo.
The 45-year-old, of Horseshoe Crescent, Burghfield Common, admitted driving a silver Ford Fiesta on Harts Hill Road in Thatcham on Wednesday, October 5.
Tests showed 51mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
Mr Mayo was fined £346.
In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £40.
Finally, Mr Mayo was banned from driving for 12 months.
