Road closures scheduled at Brimpton and Bradfield

Village road closures are expected over the coming weeks.

Cock Lane and Stanford Road, in Bradfield, will be closed on Friday, June 21, from 9.30am until 3.30pm from their junction of Heath Road and Hungerford Lane.

This closure is to enable Volker Highways to carry out permanent carriageway repairs on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

The diversion will be signed on site.

And travel along Crookham Common Road, in Brimpton, will also be affected at the end of the month.

The road will be closed from June 30 until July 1 between 9.30am until 3.30pm from its junction of Hyde End Lane to approximately 100 metres west of Brimpton Road for Volker Highways to carry out surface dressing on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

The diversion will be signed on site.

No on-street parking will be permitted, and restricted access to properties and businesses is expected until the works pass.

But access will be made available to emergency vehicles on a blue light call under site supervision.

The works are weather dependent.
