Reminder over recycling

West Berkshire Council and Veolia are reminding people to check their rubbish collection dates

WEST Berkshire Council and recycling and waste contractor Veolia Environmental Services are reminding people to check when their rubbish collection dates are.

Some alterations have been made to the usual schedule due to the number of bank holidays over the Christmas and New Year period.

There will be no green waste collections until January 22, which the council said is due to the low level of garden waste produced at this time of year resulting in resources being allocated to collecting the high levels of waste and recycling. All normal collections will resume on January 24.
