Primark Newbury opening date confirmed

The opening date for Newbury’s highly anticipated Primark store has now been officially confirmed.

newburytoday can reveal that Primark in Parkway will open at 10am on Tuesday, April 15.

The 25,000 sq ft store is set over two floors and 100 new members of staff have been recruited as part of the opening.

The shop will stock Primark’s range of affordable clothing, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle and home products and it will also feature its click and collect service for those who prefer to shop online and pick up their orders in-store.

Primark Newbury’s store manager Cian Gough said: “We’re really looking forward to opening our doors after so much anticipation and it’s great to be based right in the heart of Newbury.

“As we approach the final stages, I’m very proud of the entire team, particularly our 100 new recruits, who’ve been working hard really hard behind the scenes to get us ready.

“I’m confident that the opening day will be a memorable one that’s full of excitement for the local community and we can’t wait to see what people think of our new store.”

Primary Newbury is the company’s 197th store in the UK.

To celebrate the opening, a DJ will be performing at the store on the morning of Tuesday, April 15.
