Horris Hill School in Newtown near Newbury to expand and offer GCSE education
A prep school near Newbury has announced it will be expanding its curriculum to include GCSE students.
Horris Hill School in Newtown will be extending its educational offering by an additional three school years (Years 9 to 11).
The school will commence recruitment into Year 9 as soon as possible, with the aim to begin the first class in September 2027, or a year earlier if there is sufficient demand.
Headteacher Helen Wilkinson said: “We are incredibly excited to introduce the GCSE curriculum at Horris Hill School.
“This expansion is a testament to our dedication to delivering an exceptional education to our pupils.
“Our goal is to ensure that every pupil has access to a diverse range of subjects and resources, empowering them to excel in their future endeavours.”
