A pub in Theale has re-opened after a complete makeover.

Butcombe Pubs & Inns (part of the Liberation Group) has reopened the Fox & Hounds following an extensive interior refurbishment.

It is further equipped with William Morris-inspired upholstered dining chairs, banquette seating and lounge chairs for guests seated in the drinking and dining areas to enjoy.

General manager Chris Dickinson said: "The pub looks amazing. We’re incredibly proud of the new look and we can’t wait to show it off to locals and visitors.

"Despite the big changes the integrity of this beautiful building remains intact, as does our award-winning food and drink offering, which we’re sure our guests are going to love. As we head towards Christmas, we’re the perfect venue for festive meals and gatherings!"

The newly-launched autumn menu focuses on locally sourced produce, seasonal ingredients and hearty pub classics, with Sunday roasts and daily specials featuring Butcombe ales where possible.

Behind the bar is a selection of wine and cocktails, alongside a wide range of craft beer, real ale and cider from Butcombe’s award-winning brewery.
