Police track down Newbury shoplifter in Bracknell

The Newbury Neighbourhood Policing Team have shown there’s nowhere to hide for local criminals after tracking a woman down in Bracknell for shoplifting in Newbury.

Yesterday (Saturday) the team attended an address in Bracknell to arrest a female for shoplifting £1,000 worth of electrical items.

A member of staff had also been assaulted, while the policing team also said the woman had been arrested for shoplifting “in the Bracknell area”, where a handbag worth £950 was stolen.

The team posted the incident on Facebook, saying: “You can run but you can’t hide.”
