Thames Valley Police reveal new information about Wash Common Co-op ram-raid
Police have revealed new information about the Wash Common Co-op shop ram-raid.
In the early hours of Tuesday at approximately 4.55am, a white van, believed to be a Mercedes Sprinter, was used to force entry into the Monument Close convenience store.
The vehicle was seen driving around the area from around 4.30am.
Two offenders are believed to have been involved in the offence and items stolen from the shop include cash and alcohol.
Police have appealed for any witnesses with information to come forward by calling 101 and quoting reference number 43230032999.
Two of three large glass windows at the front of the store were found smashed in on Tuesday morning, with the panels ripped from the frames.
Tuesday’s ram-raid was not the first time the shop has been targeted.
It reopened as a new £1m Co-op in 2019 and was hit by two break-ins in three weeks at the end of that year.
