Police clear vehicles from A4 lay-by in West Berkshire

Officers from the Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce seized four vehicles dumped in a lay-by on the A4 near Padworth yesterday (Monday).

They said in a statement on their Facebook page: “Local residents have complained about people dumping vehicles in a lay-by on the A4, filling it up and making it unusable.

“Checks on the vehicles showed that 2 trucks and 2 cars were SORN’d therefore they were all seized.

“If your vehicle is untaxed or SORN’d, it cannot be left on a public road or in a lay-by.”
