Thames Valley Police break up illegal rave on The Ridgeway

Hundreds of people attended an illegal rave on The Ridgeway near West Ilsley at the weekend.
Police responded to the incident, on the night of Saturday (September 10), by breaking up the gathering – which had convened near the A34 underpass on Bury Lane.
They also seized sound and stage equipment as they brought the event to a close.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "Officers were deployed to an unlicensed music event on Saturday (10/9) at just after 11pm.
"Approximately 350 people were dispersed in order to bring back a state of normality, with sound and stage equipment seized and the event concluded.
"No arrests were made and there were no injuries."
