Police attend reports of overturned boat in Thatcham

Police attended the scene at Crookham Hill to investigate whether any people had fallen into the water.
As well as police cars and the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, the police helicopter was deployed to investigate from overhead.
The Twitter account for the Thames Valley Police helicopter commented today: "19/3/14 1620hrs Thatcham for

searching rivers after lone canoe seen. Canoe located, enquiries ongoing."
Police will remain on scene to investigate further.
