Thames Valley Police appeals for witnesses after man exposes himself to woman in Newbury park

A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in Newbury.

The incident happened in the City Recreation Ground in Andover Road at about 7pm last night (Friday).

Thames Valley Police said the offender exposed himself to a woman who was walking in the park.

A man from Newbury has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and released under investigation.

The force is now appealing for witnesses and information.

Investigating officer, PC Chloe-Anne Brady said: “I am appealing to any witnesses or anyone with information about the offence to contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible.
