Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses to Newbury assault

Thames Valley Police has released images of two people officers would like to speak to about an assault in Newbury.
At around 12.20am on Saturday, January 22, a man pushed another man into the victim, a woman in her fifties, in Walkabout in Cheap Street.
The victim was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment for a fractured wrist and was discharged.
PC Andrew Whitfield, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing for the people in the images, or anyone who recognises them, to please come forward.
“Anyone with information that can help our investigation should call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference number 43220031625.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
