Finance company moves HQ to Newbury
Motor finance company Novuna is moving its HQ to Newbury.
The company – which is part of Mitsubishi HC Capital – has taken more than 19,000 square feet of office space at 4 The Sector.
It will be one of its two UK-based office locations.
Novuna Vehicle Solutions is one of the UK’s top 10 largest leasing companies with more than 100,000 vehicles ranging from cars and vans to HGVs, trucks and plant equipment.
They are supporting many of the UK’s largest operators' transition from traditional fleets to a greener fleet mix.
The Sector is part of West Berkshire Council’s commercial property investment portfolio.
“This is really great news,” said Ross Mackinnon (Con, Bradfield), West Berkshire’s executive member for finance and economic development.
"We’re delighted by the arrival of Novuna.
"Newbury is a great place to live and work. That’s why we’ve attracted the likes of Vodafone, Micro Focus, National Instruments and Celfinet
Novuna Vehicle Solutions joins Wates Construction, which already has offices on the first floor of 4 The Sector.
“Our new regional headquarters in Newbury is not only an innovative space built with sustainability and flexible working in mind, it is also a significant milestone that marks our growth ambition in the South West,” said Alec Jackman, regional director for Wates Construction in the South West.
“We are working on some incredibly exciting projects in the region and this relocation will be pivotal in supporting their delivery, at the same time creating jobs for local people.”
Novuna Vehicle Solutions managing director Jon Lawes said: “I’m delighted we’ll soon be welcoming our colleagues, partners and customers to our Newbury office, which is designed to enable our colleagues to realise our ambitious decarbonisation strategy which aims to transition our fleet to carbon neutral by 2030.”
