Newbury Tesco Extra to get new car wash and valet

The proposals have been put in by Waves Cosultancy, a privately owned company supplies hand car wash and valeting services to supermarkets, property owners, retailers and car park operators across the UK.
The application also details plans to build a cabin, canopy and water recycling system at the Pinchington Lane site.
Waves Consultancy says that the car wash operation will be environmentally friendly as a water-recycling unit will be recycling oil free wash-water and saving up to 85 per cent of fresh water.
It adds that it would have a positive impact on local employment by creating an estimated four full-time and four part-time jobs.
The station would be able to wash and valet between five and six vehicles at any one time
A decision on the plans is expected from West Berkshire Council on October 17.
