Judges observed presentations by the pupils about their chosen charity and what thev’ve done to support them.

The winning group was awarded a £1,000 grant for their chosen charity Dingley’s Promise, which provides life changing support to young children with disabilities.

“This is a fantastic competition that truly highlights the spirit of our students,” said assistant headteacher Sean Kenneally, who is responsible for starting the programme.

“Their commitment to their community and their desire to play an active role as responsible citizens is truly inspiring.”

The initiative, an integral part of their Personal Development programme, encourages pupils to explore social issues and connect with local charities that address these challenges within the community.

The school wishes to thank deputy mayor of Newbury David Harman and the Trinity Head Student team for judging the presentations.
