Newbury MP Laura Farris to join discussions on violence against women and girls with Conservative Young Women today

Newbury MP Laura Farris will be joining the Conservative Young Women this afternoon (Sunday) to discuss violence against women and girls.

She said: “I look forward to joining this urgent and important conversation with the Conservative Young Women this afternoon.”

The discussion of female safety is a matter that CYW say has been on “everyone’s minds” recently.

Speakers at the talk will include solicitor general and MP Alex Chalk, Nimco Ali OBE and Laura Farris.

The chairwoman of CYW, Ella Robertson McKay will also be in attendance.

The discussion will be held at the youth zone conservative conference from 5pm to 6pm
