New Thatcham play area to commemorate Queen's Platinum Jubilee

A new play area is coming to Thatcham in commemoration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The Thatcham Memorial Foundation is planning to build the facility in the memorial playing fields.

It is calling for the thoughts of residents on issues such as what play equipment is favoured, to how to celebrate the opening.

It also asks whether the responders have special needs and whether or not they want to see local history referenced in the play design.
