New owners set for Regency Park Hotel

Manor of Groves Ltd has said it intends to take over the Thatcham hotel on Friday, April 29

NEW owners are set to take over the Regency Park Hotel in Thatcham, after it went into administration last year.

Manor of Groves Ltd has said it intends to take over the Bowling Green Road hotel on Friday, April 29.

Area sales manager at the hotel, Simon Pritchett, said: "On the day the nation celebrates the Royal Wedding, the team at The Regency Park Hotel will be celebrating a new positive future for the hotel."

In July last year the hotel went into administration and it was put into the hands of administrator Grant Thornton, however, residents and staff were assured that it would be business as usual.

Group strategy and development manager, Marisa Willingham, said: "We are delighted to welcome The Regency Park Hotel to one of the most dynamic and forward thinking independent hotel groups in the home counties."
