New clothing store opening this week in Newbury Parkway

A new shop selling fine-quality knitwear, clothing and accessories is opening this week in Parkway.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill will be opening on Thursday morning (March 7) between The Entertainer and Waterstones units.

Parkway centre manager, Andrew Marmot, said: “We are excited to see Edinburgh Woollen Mill open at Parkway.

“It is a welcome addition to Middle Street.”

Issues within the wider business previously forced the business to shut in Newbury.

But the shop is back, and more units are on the way.

Also coming to Parkway is The Fragrance Shop, which will occupy the former Dapper Street unit in Middle Street later this year.

The shop will offer a wide range of designer women’s perfumes, men’s aftershaves and unisex fragrances.
