It means weekend and overnight closures for the roundabout that links the motorway with the A4 Bath Road in Theale and Holybrook, as well as the slip road on and off the M4.

Work is due to begin on Monday, September 16, and will continue through to the end of November.

Overnight closures will be in place from 9pm to 6am.

These will be on an ‘as necessary’ basis, and signposted in advance.

The weekend closure will start at 9pm on Friday, October 11, ending at 6am on Monday, October 14.

If necessary, National Highways will close the roads again the following weekend, October 18 to 21.

Diversions will be in place. The eastbound diversion is via A4, A340, A339, A33, A4155, A4. The westbound diversion is the same route in reverse.

Blue light access is to be maintained wherever possible.

The works reference is NOMS-391537, and a plan of the closure has been published on the One.Network website.
