Hungerford man Gary Crame to run London Marathon for New Life Babies

A MAN is running the London Marathon in aid of New Life Babies.

The charity is close to Gary Crame’s heart - because he was born so prematurely himself, he was not expected to survive.

Mr Crame, from Hungerford, was born 29 weeks preterm at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Swindon, Wiltshire.

He was kept in hospital for three months and relied on vital equipment to keep him alive.

Now, super fit and determined, he has already taken on a range of challenges including Tough Mudders, and the Southampton, Reading, and Greenham Common Half Marathons.

He is taking on his latest challenge, the London Marathon, on Sunday, April 27.

New Life Special Care Babies is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising money for special care baby units across the UK.
