Man hospitalised after dog attack in Thatcham




A man has been attacked by a dog in Thatcham.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a dog, believed to be a Rottweiler, attacked a man on the A4 between the Crickets pub and Sainsbury’s Local on Monday (February 17) between 9.45pm and 10.15pm.

The man remains in hospital after sustaining injuries to his face, leg and finger.

Investigating officer PC Ethan Nowicki, based at Newbury Police Station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this dog attack to please get in contact with us.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have been driving in the area at this time and caught dash-cam footage of the incident.”
