Theale man harvests potato that looks like an XL Bully




The harvest period brings with it plenty of misshapen vegetables.

A Theale man and former headteacher has unearthed a potato uncannily resembling an XL Bully dog.

Potatoes – known for producing smash hits like vodka and French Fries – are typically harvested between nine weeks to 13 weeks from when they are planted.

Chris Gittins — chair of governors at Englefield School and former headteacher at Theale Green School — was surprised to harvest this particularly unusual potato.
