Jake Cutler from Newbury denies harassing Thatcham woman
A MAN is to go on trial accused of harassing a woman.
Jake Cutler appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, February 20.
The 36-year-old, of Russell Road, Newbury, is charged with pursuing a courser of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Clare Badley by repeatedly trying to contact her via various calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, social media, voicemail and various members of her family.
He was said to have done this in Thatcham between July 25 and July 27 last year.
Mr Cutler, who was legally represented by Adonis Daniel, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to the charge.
He was told the case could proceed no further that day and would be adjourned for a trial ot be arranged.
Mr Cutler was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
