Greenham man Leigh Jones committed double assault

A MAN has been sentenced for assaulting two females.

Leigh Jones appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 3.

The 43-year-old, of Eitherways, Greenham, admitted two counts of assault by beating, both committed in Newbury on July 14 last year.

Jones was made subject to a 12-month community order and rerquired to complete 160 hours of unpaid community work.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.
